Campbell, Foley, Delano & Adams’ Response to COVID-19
On March 21, 2020, Governor Murphy issued Executive Order 107 setting forth and implementing social mitigation strategies to combat the community spread of COVID-19. The essence of those strategies is the limitation of movement of individuals in and around their communities and adherence to the guidelines of the federal Centers for Disease Control and the New Jersey Department of Health for person-to-person contact interactions. Stated plainly, “the best way for New Jersey residents to keep themselves, their families, and their communities safe during the COVID-19 outbreak is to stay home as much as possible.”
Campbell, Foley, Delano & Adams is committed to the fight against community spread and to conducting our business through strict adherence to the letter and the spirit of the Governor’s Order. As of Monday, March 23, 2020, our offices are closed and will remain closed until the health emergency has passed and the restrictions put in place by Executive Order 107 are lifted. During the time of our closure, our attorneys and professional staff will work from home. To the extent that there are functions necessary to the continuation of our essential operations which cannot be performed by an attorney or staff member from home, the number of persons on-site will be minimal and for extremely limited periods of time. In this regard, our offices are located on two floors of an office building in Asbury Park with approximately 10,000 square feet of available space capable of accommodating our 30 person workforce under ordinary circumstances. During these extraordinary times, we will have a maximum of five persons on-site at any given time, all of whom will adhere strictly to the principles of social distancing set forth in the Governor’s Order. In sum, it is mandatory for all of our attorneys and staff to “Stay at Home” unless absolutely necessary to come to our office.
By committing our firm to the Governor’s efforts to stop the community spread of COVID-19, we hope to help preserve the health and well being of our employees, clients, colleagues and the community at large while at the same time maintaining the level of service which has been our hallmark for over 60 years. Stay safe. Be well.
